i need the title for this movie please

I've never seen the TV series, and was a little bit confused when I first watched the movie. However, I've watched it again (more than once) and have gotten the hang of it. It's actually quite good. Story of an Aussie girl searching for her dream. I'm Aussie, by the way.
You need to watch the first for some bits to make sense. If you love ballet and dance and cheesy love story it's perfect. Great dancing and music.
I came across this film by chance on the Dutch-language telvisie in a dubbed version and because of the dubbing I feel that a lot of details and o-puns have been lost. When a film is made about dancing, in nine out of ten cases it is also about ballet. The great thing about this film is that the more negative sides, such as injuries from ballet, are put in the spotlight. While most other films encourage children to participate in sports (often ballet), this one also warns about things that can go wrong. For example, a lot of attention has been paid to the injury of the main character and to the recovery process. They also try to make it clear that athletes often want to speed up their healing process or start exercising again too early, and this can have disastrous consequences for the rest of your life. I just love how this film focuses on the issues of sports like ballet.
Overcoming movies usually win my heart, but musicals and dances, with their cake recipes for nothing and low sugar, bore me, like, better get off the diet by eating tasty, boring and boring stuff, (version) Portuguese from Portugal, only the soundtrack makes us love, makes us cry and want to go on screen, the end credits with photos and videos of the child actors, won S2... besides, it didn't even win me over...
I am from Spain. I remember seeing Dance Academy back in 2011 and I was a huge fan. I know the movie was released a few years ago, but I didn't have the chance to see it until I found out it was on Netflix. I am so thankful for this movie, it gaves the show closure which is what my childhood needed. I've been scared because for a moment I thought they were doing a 'Sam' again... but luckily they decided not to break my heart for real this time... For me, the only problem with the movie is that characters are so changed. Like back in the series it was easy for me to hate Christian because he was SO toxic with Tara, he manipulated her bigtime. But he doesn't do it in this film and I really wanted them to break up because I think they are no good for each other. Anyway, they found their way to be happy and it (surprisingly) don't seem really forced to me. Also I really loved Xenia and Thomas's perfomance, great actors - best dancers!
I mean I have struggled to keep up with the story between american flags and another gazillion cliché footage. Honestly looked like they bought iStock footage and thrown into this movie. Alright I got it, NY and USA are these amazing places on Earth - cool! The rest is just superficial bits of a story that uses personal drama for attention. Disgusted...
I am a 62 year old woman who danced ballet as a teen. I thought the tv series marvelous and was truly addicted to watching it. The movie not so much. It was contrived and silly. Just didn't seem natural the way the tv series was. Choreography was very interesting.
