قصة المسلسل مأخوذة عن المسلسل الشهير (يوميات مصاصي الدماء)، وتدور الأحداث حول عودة مصاصي الدماء الأصليين لمدينة (نيو أورليانز) بعد أن تركوها قبل نحو تسعين عامًا، والصدام بين مصاصي الدماء الأصليين والجدد.
