أميرتان إلسا (إيدنا مينزل) الملكة القادمة وآنا (كرستين بيل). إلسا كانت تمتلك قوةً خارقةً وفريدةً من نوعها ،حيث كان بإمكانها خلق الثلج والجليد، ولكنها قمعت تلك القوة بسبب حادثةٍ أصابتها بصدمة. أثناء حفل تنصيب إلسا كملكةٍ تَخرج الأمور عن السيطرة وتسلك نحو طريقٍ من التعقيدات ويبدأ كل شيء في الانهيار، بناءً عليه تهرب إلسا. تقرر آنا مصاحبة كريستوف (جونثان جروف) وأوليف (جوش جاد) في رحلةٍ محفوفةٍ بالمخاطر من أجل إيجاد إلسا وإنقاذ المملكة قبل فوات الأوان.
