Ok, I walked in on a Sunday late afternoon while my family was watching this show, I thought to myself, oh goodness one of those films where they want you to evaluate your life and be bored watching, well, what a awesome surprise., as my wife explained what happened that led to the amazing end I had to dry the tears away. This is such a powerful message, not trying to win souls, but trying to get a message across about forgiveness. The actors were awesome, and I was really excited to see the forever young Kim Fields, Good Job to the writer and director in bringing the feeling of the message to life.
Pureflix does it again. By it I mean make a sloppy written mess with bad audio mixing. Get ready for struggling to hear while having your eardrums ruptured in this mumble mess that has background music constantly overwhelming the actors. A Cringe inducing script filled with stilted interactions plainly shows there were only two real actors in this film. Don't look for reality here. Between hospital staff sharing the personal identity of organ donors, police revealing the full name of minors involved in investigation, and more half assed crisis of faith then you can shake a stick at. This movie will pound two things into your head. The sound editor should be fired. And don't text and drive. Even though if you kill someone that was all God's plan and you will be totally forgiven. Yep in a world run by a puppet master we are all unwilling pawns in his murderous, mysterious ways. Save your time, money and ear drums. This cringe bait is not worth any.
This movie literally influences religious people to hand over their organs to arrogant ungrateful ingrates. First of all organ donation is ones own choice. This movie is pushing an agenda due to low organ donations. I myself, will never willingly give over any organ from my body or anyone else I love. "Ty" needs to do better.
I don't care who you are or what you believe, everyone of all ages should see this movie. Forgiveness is SO powerful.
A story about the reality of being a Christian in today's world and the level of faith and forgiveness that we should aspire to. I left this movie and immediately recommended it to friends and family. If you can't find something worthwhile in this movie then you honestly went in to it wanting to dislike it. Solid performances from all involved and well shot. Definitely recommended.
This movie could've been good but it's more like a copycat of the grace card but not good at all. Grace card had some bad acting but better acting then this and it had a waayyyy better story. Grace card was a great movie this is just dumb and makes you hate the characters. Pulling the plug of your 11 year old after a week ya right that was what made me write this. Also why would I feel bad for the little texting chick lol and her mom who just needed her to do deliveries that's stupid and the parents of the 35 year old daughter are awful actors and the dad only cared about her record deal. Plus the cheater who beats his wife in why did I get married is the worse character to watch in this role. This is a dumb movie. I didn't even finish I just can't !!!!!!!!!
A lot of the movie comes from various angles and family perspectives. It has good acting and great actors. It is well put together and certainly worth watching even if you don't like faith based films or bible themed movies you will still enjoy it. Anyone with a conscious would enjoy this film, definitely worth watching.
I have seen this movie; It is a great movie. It is clean, ethical, and educational movie. It shows the best actions in time of crises. the story can happen to anyone of us, however the decisions we make makes all the difference no mater how difficult our decisions are; and that is what this movie is about.
Let me start off by saying that I come from a Christian heritage but I am not a Christian. I am an agnostic. I can find no proof for the existence of God (let alone what's in the Bible, Koran, etc) nor can I find proof for the non-existence of God. Intellectual honesty requires, therefore, that I neither believe nor disbelieve. Given my stance on God and religion, I dismissed the Bible / Christian stuff in "A Question of Faith" out of hand. I just ignored it and instead approached this movie from a human behavior standpoint. I'm glad I did. "A Question of Faith" is one of those stories about people who do not know each other but are brought together by an event, in this case a totally avoidable tragedy, and, as is necessary for this kind of movie, by coincidence. The tragedy begets pain and, of course, anger. I like the acting in this movie. Some of the characters could have seemed "too good" to be real, but since I've met real people who are like the characters portrayed in the movie I was able to get past that. The characters were all introduced early in the movie, and it became fairly predictable what what was going to happen next. So you might think, therefore, that "A Question of Faith" just left me flat and from my description that this movie is not worth watching, but you would be wrong. By the end of "A Question of Faith" I was crying. This movie, to me, is about the power and beauty of forgiveness, and it doesn't matter whether forgiveness comes from some religion or from innate human goodness. Maybe forgiveness means nothing to you but it means a whole lot to me. I have been both forgiven and have forgiven in my lifetime and I know what it truly means. "A Question of Faith" portrayed forgiveness in its true glory in spite of the biblical connections. I knocked off a couple of points for all the bible stuff. But the thing I really didn't like about "A Question of Faith" is that it left all the theaters around here before I could go see it again.
