I really wanted to like this show. Gustavo Fring is by far one of the best characters on tv and I don't think anyone could have played him better than Esposito did. Unfortunately this is not the case for Parish. A cliche ridden muddle of a series. Poorly written, poorly directed and very poorly acted. Parish is made to play the character as a cut price Denzel and it doesn't work. He is not an action star. The show seems to be made for the tiktok generation. Garish, loud and completely without substance. Watched the first episode and that's it for me. Try watching Sugar which is a brilliant show and Colin Farrell is excellent in it.
