Wow, what a fantastic movie. Stellar cast and very funny. Its a bit of Comedy, drama, and romance but mostly funny. I don't think I've laughed so much in the movies in a long time. We went today on New years day and it was a sold out show in the morning. The audience laughed the whole time. A little far fetched but still fantastic. A great story of women empowerment, or just empowerment in general. Its a feel good movie and another excellent well-done job by Jennifer Lopez, the woman who never ages. Although she dances and sings too, I'm not a fan of hers for her music. Her acting is what I think she is best at. I can now add this to one of my fave "J-Low" movies. And don't get me started on her sidekick in the movie, Leah Remini. Those two have some serious on-screen chemistry. Its no wonder they are friends in real life. There hasn't been too many films I have enjoyed much lately so this is a breath of fresh air. I Highly recommend it!

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen but it wasn't worth seeing at the cinema. Another typical movie about a girl who isn't expected to go far because she doesn't have a college degree but actually knows her stuff so ends up doing well despite having lied about something to get the job. Of course there's someone who finds out and intends to rat her out but she comes clean on a big stage in front of everyone which I believe we're meant to find moving but I think it's actually quite inconsiderate. Besides, it has been done a hundred times in rom coms. The funny parts are few and far between and the "twist" is a bit predictable. I wasn't expecting to have my mind blown by this movie but I was at least hoping for an easy, funny, light hearted comedy to switch off to and enjoy. This was not that.

Populated with everybody's favourite faces this up to date reboot of Working Girl is fun to watch. JLo is the woman without a degree, her BFF played by Leah Remini's son fakes her resume and she gets a corporate job in Manhattan. The Working Girl formula isn't novel but it is a winning formula nonetheless. Nice rapport with Vanessa Hudgens. I liked it.

This movie was such a letdown. Painfully predictable and stale, and the acting was lackluster from all involved. Bummer

Really what a AWEFUL message to young women. The moral is in the business world the difference between an education and not is "just a piece of paper?" Really?

I Absolutely loved Second Act, it's a great feel good movie with a positive message and the acting was on point. This movie gets a 10 from me because I was left sitting there at the end of the credits feeling so happy and the message was "you can really accomplish anything if you believe in yourself" Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini and the two best friends chemistry was amazing and I absolutely love Freddie Stroma now great actor and adorable. Everyone needs to see this movie.

If you're fan of good comedy this isn't one. It starts very good, let's say first 15-20 minutes, then you start rolling your eyes cause you can't believe how stupid and cliche it is... If you're bored as I was, go watch it, but honestly you'll feel relieved once it ends.
