I kep5 watching and Italian Ricci is reall6 good. I enjoy her charchter. Her sister is better but they are two best in movie that's a fun enjoyable watch.
Without too many (high) expectations I started watching this film but how sweet it was! I actually enjoyed the acting (all right, some of the non Italian actors pretending to be Italian weren't too great...) the story and the sights. Of course it's not the best movie ever but all in all it was a lovely romcom that I would actually recommend.
This like so many other hallmark movies bored me to death. The characters are in Tome and they fall in love with each other over time....snooze fest. Based off of the movie Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn.
I loved the many plot lines in this movie. The actors are well casted and the scenery is stunning. Hallmark has a good format for creating feel good movies. The message: "everything is possible for anybody". Just sit down and enjoy this relaxing "feel good" movie.
There are others that have written about the actors and their inter action or lack there of. What I found that most of them failed to look at is the two leads were actually, in my opinion, portraying the roles of the leads in the movie being made, "holiday in Rome". The two were never meant to be so our leads seemed to realize that. However, in true Hallmark tradition our love story prevailed!
My favorite hallmark movie of the year so far. You know what, cut the hallmark; just my favorite movie of the year so far. Amazing acting but even better writing. When the rival reported was sent on a wild goose chase, I laughed out loud. Sending it to the book store right now to buy the book.
Boring, bland, dull, plain... Should I go on? The actress not acting and the reporter/writer not writing, just spending time in Rome. I felt like Dante, the Cat, lying down in my bed tired of these boring humans. I know, I know, it's a Hallmark movie but still. They can do much better.
Boring, boring, and boring!!! Hallmark, you can do better. Extremely disappointing. 15 minutes was all I can take with this movie.
