Very heartfelt and I can connect with it because I've been through what this girl has been through and what her moms been through and I think everyone should watch this movie it is a very good movie and very heartfelt and good Christian movie.
One star because I can't give it zero stars. It truly is one of the worst things my eyes and ears have had to witness and is just garbage. The story is awful. The acting is atrocious.
The movie was okay. Slow moving. First, I wondered why Rebecca and Grace didn't have jobs. Second, shouldn't she have received a Military Death Benefit lump sum, and subsequent monthly payments? If that were the case, I can't believe that things would have been so dire.
There is just so much wrong with this movie; from a Christian viewpoint. You have to remember the words of the Apostle James, Faith without works is dead. We are not to just sit around and do nothing; like things would just drop out of the sky. "He who will not work, nor should he eat". They get all this money, from charity to pay off their debts, but what happens when the next mortgage payment is due; another bailout; I don't think a few trail rides would support property, of that size nor pay the labor and expenses it would require to keep the operation profitable. There is a saying to "Do your best and let God do the rest. The mother gets all these notices from the bank, that the ranch is in trouble, but she just ignores them; thinking that doing this the problem will go away. This is prime example of what the Unbelievers think and say about the people who claim to be Christians; followers of the Faith and Prosperity Gospel; that all you have to do is pray and you will receive what you ask for, like He is entitled to give it to them. As scripture says "pray without ceasing and not doubting and God will give you the desires of your heart; according to his will and purpose".
Through faith and prayer any life challenge can be overcome
It feels like a bad Sunday school movie. I've had ex boyfriends more kind about shoving things down my throat than this film. Someone clearly never explained to this director show don't tell. Not only did this movie insult my time, but now I will forever have Netflix insisting that I continue watching this absolute piece of garbage.
This was a christian white suburban mom's wet dream. Also the character rides english with a western saddle, but doesn't even hold the reins right to ride english.
This movie wears like a LifeTime movie that was not released because of not having any interest. The picture on the ad and the name sums up what could only be shown to the ages of 5 years old to 12.
This is one of the best movies I have ever watched I love the cast and faith the horse is very pretty.
I completely agree with rugle1's review. As someone who works in finance, this movie absolutely did my head in. Why wasn't the mother looking for a job? Why didn't they move out and rent out the ranch until they got back on their feet? What kind of a congregation has that much money that they can pay off someone's mortgage! I can't imagine that someone would be that passive in such a dire situation. It is such a poor lesson for her daughter. Frustrating all around.
