The time when when I walked out of the cinema I had a mixed reaction, on one hand I was extremely disappointed by the lack of innovation, suspense and LOGIC but on the other I felt it was entertaining too. So for the people who want to watch it for the sake of fun and entertainment -its worth watching with friends. But the script of the movie is very weak, the writers have amalgamated an array of Hollywood sequences into one film. So subsequently there isn't a single climax, there are multiple. And its way too predictable for a thriller. Besides that, they've tried to make it high-tech by making it "James Bondish". But the gadgets were hilarious and you can only make fun of how many logical fallacies you'll come across through out the film. So all in all it wasn't as good as good as I expected it to be, and I hope the next time Abbas Mustan makes a film he goes over the script himself.
it was so bad i could not finish watching it and i tell you thats a first for me. just a lot of skin showing on the women's part and cars and lots of money. absolutely no story line whatsoever, i angrily deleted it from my laptop. it just stinks i watched the fist race and kind of enjoyed it, how the movie became successful is beyond me. From the beginning there was no suspense at all. i have no words to describe it. if i could give it a zero i would john Abraham does not fit that role as a don of turkey at all or maybe he just does not have the right expressions.
I admit that the movie has some good twist but the plot is so weak that you will laugh at the end. Only Saif, John and Deepika were good in this movie. Rest of all the cast were so bad that will make you feel like you are watching a "B grade" action movie. Some scenes were so dull that will pull you from your seat. I was hoping to watch an amazing movie, but at the end it was so ordinary. Abbas - Mastan did some awesome movies in the past. But may be they are losing their touch. They are very good director. But this one was not up to them. Action scenes are good to watch in the theater. But it is not even close to the previous "RACE".
If u watch this movie a dare will come that the vfx very unrealistic. Abbas and mustan directed Players (2012). The movie's VFX are superb but this is 👎👎👎👎
part of Race but was disappointed. The first half was OK but after a while it turned a bit boring. The story has less twists than before and Anil Kapoor gets annoying with same jokes as the first Race. However it a little entertainment value so I'll give it 7 out of 10. Even the Lamboghini car scene which turns into a normal vehicle is quite shameful for this movie. The song are terrible. "Allah Duhai part 2" is average but "Be Intehaan" is pure crap with chorus having western singing of "intehan"..What the hell? "lat lag gayee" and "party on my mind" is just okay.
Hearing that this was a blockbuster and a box office hit I had some expectations out of it. Once I started watching the film it was simply getting unwatchable by the moment. I am Okay with Hindi "Masala" films which are made to please a larger audience however this was stretching the limit. Illogical plot, unbelievable characters, weak storyline and mediocre acting are the interest killers. And to top that off we have some really cheap, vulgar and unfunny jokes between Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel. There is no reason to watch this film which also incorporates some scenes heavily borrowed from Hollywood counterparts. I am still figuring out how come this film managed to get into the "100 crore" club whilst good films out there struggle to make a decent moola. Lastly, when the titles roll in the beginning it says that Ameesha Patel has a special appearance. Not sure if they messed it up and actually meant to say Bipasha Basu as Ameesha has some considerable presence throughout the film.
