Michael McIntyre is the sort of comic your grandma might find amusing. As for me, I just find him tedious, unfunny and childish. His humour, such as it is, belongs in another age. I often wonder how he manages to get an audience, but then I realise, in the same case as Peter Kay, there must be an awful lot of people who're desperate for some light relief (very light) in their miserable lives. If you wanted classic stand-up comedy you'd be better off going for Les Dawson or Dave Allen, at least they were funny. As for Mr. McIntyre, he'll probably keep on selling his dvd's to people who'll buy because they've seen him on tv, though how many would want to watch him more than once is a complete mystery.
I've watched it at least 10 times. Will watch it 10 more. Completely hysterical.
I am a fan of Michael McIntyre and his brand of comedy. However this Netflix special of his is a bit hit and miss. His opening jokes were pretty flat about his wife and the floorboard creaks. His material was a lot better towards the end about items people could relate to and understand.
It's pretty funny but McIntyre talks over the laughter and applause as if hes trying to get through it as quickly.as possible. Just make it a 90minute special and it's be much better, more relaxed and not so rushed.
Few things of voiceover were irritating but then there were really good laughing moments too. Overall can't miss this. If he could have cut out some adult portions would have been better.
If you like McIntyre you won't be dissapointing, though slightly vexed at too many rehashed jokes.
No idea why anyone thinks this guy is funny Dreadful & it was a struggle 2 watch it
There were a few moments that had my partner and myself in hysterics, particuarly when he was talking about his jumper. But it was definitely not as good as his previous shows.
Absolutely amazing, the part about the dogs was the best! Highly recommended. Hadn't laughed so much in ages.
