Having been on the subway a million times, I thought I'd give this one a shot. 18 minutes in I'm ready to sue for mental cruelty! Okay, I'm mostly kidding about taking legal action, but I did have to turn this off and warn the others.
We all know that we live in times that change exceptionally quickly -since the release of this movie till today things have changed -but Astonishingly the overall concept of this movie is very much with us today obviously the first thing we have is the bloodletting everywhere and put all of the woman in this movie (and they of course take up the majority of situations) that have come out of our times whether it's the meta-verse the woke culture The loneliness that is periodically interrupted by the use of smart phones & one finds that underlying all of this is the rage and anger. I was first astounded at the poor reviews of the movie but under the circumstances and with the way we communicate today over social media above all if it is not quick fast exciting A la the marvel movies etc. Or if the political situation is not spelled out exactly and one has to ponder it a bit that could make it "boring" in my mind unfortunate but so it is I think it's an incredible movie and does involve a lot of thought and analysis and it really impressed me.
I tried very hard to watch this movie, but, unfortunately, switched off after 20 minutes. This is such a bore, I can't even describe how dull it is- unwatchable. There is nothing else to say.
Like 99 % of movies starring Kate Lyn Sheil, this is just another pretentious waste of time. The only purpose of this talentless crap is to give everyone involved a feeling of being important artists. They're not.
The most common word that many viewers use these days in their reviews is "boring". Many angry ones and twos saying that this film was boring. Probably they can't wait to run and watch Spiderman. This film is well written and acted. Each episode reflect real relationships of four women with their mothers. It has a mystery connecting all four that share a subway ride in NYC. Give it a try to this independent film that deals with many difficult issues of contemporary America.
Utterly boring - for a relatively short film it doesn't half drag on. After getting halfway through I was going to switch off, then saw how long was left and decided to stick it out to the end in the hope that something would have made it worth while. Seriously wish I hadn't bothered. Then just to add insult to injury, the ending was a massive anticlimax.
