Brother of the Year

The film is good, but I don't know why it didn't touch me. So this film tells the story of siblings, even though there are many conflicts between them, they still love each other. The moral is that we have to put our egos aside for mutual comfort

Watching this movie is mixing between comedy, love, drama, family, and friendship. In first 20 min, you'll have some laugh, but then going boring, after that sobering. The story is great, not too difficult/weigh to watch. But there is a lot of focus here, at first you'll get the focus on each character personal life, and it spent much minutes on introduction of each character. After that you'll get the focus on how coochie's and his sister work-life. Then, you'll get focus on how coochie's sister love-life, also introducing the Moji's family. Then you'll get back on those sibling life, a lil bit coochie's love life and sibling problem. And blablabla until at the end they live as a better relationship as sibling. Really, it just too much focus or spending too many duration for introducing each character. At first I expecting a lot of comedy and how the relation between coochie and his sister is, but it wasnt. It just like the 1/3 of the movie. The rest is about Jane love, family, and both work. If you watch this entire movie, you'll feel like the timeline of this movie is moving for 20 years, because of too much things to be told in the movie. The act on each character is pretty good, I love how selfish coochie was, and I love how care Jane is but she is too shy to show it. Also love how Moji could create a strong character as a nice person, and how idealist dear is. The actresses and actors done their job very well. Don't forget the other character like Jane's mother and aunt, also Moji's mother, and all of other characters, they also done very well. For me, Story: is 7/10 Emotional / Drama: 10/10 (really, it done well!) Story execution: 4/10 (too much details)
