A True Gentleman

The movie carries a message about the dark side of engaging in the world of sexual pleasures in exchange for money. When you enter such a world, the possible fates are: death from overdose (like Kado), genital diseases (Serap's case), or living as an outcast by loved ones (Saygin). But most importantly there is always an opportunity to go out and start a new life ,find yourself and found a business based on your passion and talent. A credit to the screenwriters that they didn't beautify the situation or made it easy to deal with. At the end there is opening of new horizon maybe they thought of season 2.

As always, Cagatay Ulusoy put his soul and poured his talent into this project. His emotions will pass through any lens or screen. Once fascinated by the first scenes and dialogues, you will cry when he cries and you will smile when he smiles. Cagatay has a unique way to captivate his audience with his natural and authentic way of acting. A movie filled with lots of emotions, a multitalented lead actor, a unique approach of the subject, male feelings, vulnerability, loss, childhood trauma, pursuing your own hapiness and dreams, brotherhood, love and listening to the inner child. A movie with a positive message, in the end. I loved it and seen it twice already.

Thanks to the whole team of "Tam Bir Centilmen" for the good work! Because it's teamwork. If the film really resonated with audiences, that's exactly why. If it hadn't been filmed well, if the world of the characters hadn't been built so well, if the actors hadn't embraced their characters so much and given such a delightful performance, if the producer hadn't been so brave, if every single person on the team, from the art management to the music, lighting and editing, he hadn't done his job that well, maybe this story wouldn't have been liked as much. It is important to give such a different story a chance. Cagatay Ulusoy once again showed courage with his choice of role! And to us, the viewers, he presented a brilliant acting performance! Thank you Cagatay Ulusoy!

This is a very beautiful film that gives an enlightening message about a hidden but real world... It's a bold story, but the presentation of the film stays within the bounds of good taste throughout. Emotional, thought-provoking, entertaining and educational. Cagatay Ulusoy's portrayal of the protagonist Saygin is phenomenal. Saygin hovers between doubts in every movement and is also the essence of the film. The creators show this world raw, they do not beautify it or set it as an example. That's why this movie is valuable. It reveals its negative consequences such as loneliness, addiction or death. I also liked the ending of the movie, leaving everyone to choose their own path... Don't miss this beautiful experience, watch the movie.

Why reviews are so bad? It's not an Oscar movie, but there are millions of American ones rated at least 6. I completely disagree with such harsh criticism from other users. I spent a very pleasant evening watching it. As always in Turkish productions, the music dazzles. The subject matter is not as shallow and cheap as one might expect from description of the movie. The film, free from Turkish censorship, shows a more normal life of Turks. I have a comparison, I watch both series that are on TV and those from streaming platforms. You can see a definite difference. The cast is familiar from many other Turkish Netflix productions. There are also some new faces. Really good entertainment, different culture, interesting topic.

Far from romance, the film penetrates into the complexity of relationships, shows us the limits between emotional and physical needs, where there is deception, lack of respect in the relationship. We see women bored, unhappy, women treated as property, lacking attention, admiration, respect... Those with money find their "balance" in a gigolo, a true gentleman. If we look at these men, we will see that this work of pleasure, luxury, enjoyment also comes with its costs. Watch the movie and you will know them. There is an existential drama hidden there, deep, but polished... "Tam Bir Centilmen" enjoys the wonderful play of the actors, Cagatay and Ebru make a good pair, they are in perfect harmony. Saygin, a new role, another outstanding performance by Cagatay Ulusoy. One of the most talented actors of his generation. For me, the best. And the final moral: Love conquers all and is the best balm for a wounded soul.

I love this movie, but few people are honest. Thanks to the actors for choosing this project. This movie is a life lesson and a new acting lesson. It is a romantic movie. A film full of emotions. Pay attention to the emotions and messages that this movie conveys to the viewers. Don't look superficially. Look not only with your eyes, but with an open heart and mind. And you'll know it's a movie worth watching again. Viewers must have life experience (personal and professional) to understand this film beyond appearances. Currently 1st place in the top 10 movies on Netflix worldwide. Congratulations!
