When a fire destroys their entire apartment, single mom Chona and her 7-year-old son Red move in with three drag queens. Hustling with her job as a freelance make-up artist, Chona tries to build a new home for Red. Her world flips upside down when her ex-lover Chester returns in search of his long-lost son while she is starting to get her life back with BG as a reliable new friend.
