I'd just like to second what some other reviewers have said (much more eloquently than I will): This is a light, trauma-free series that is a great respite from all the dark trauma-driven series out there. If you want to just relax and enjoy a bunch of people being super kind and understanding, watch this! The Good Beautiful cast all around. Many couples getting together with no pointless blowups or breakups Loads of people in their social groups - all of who are kind and supportive The FL managed to be young, innocent, and cheerful without overdoing it and spoiling the role. And she has a gorgeous smile :-) Why not a 10? I am tempted to give this series a 10. I didn't for two reasons: 1) There were some of what I consider plot holes that I couldn't help think about. (Spoiler) For example the FL's big performance and her family was not there. This did not jive with her healthy and loving family dynamic. 2) I think they should have maybe squeezed it down by a couple of episodes, or given more time to two of the other couples, who seemed to get together all of a sudden which had me thinking, "Wait, what? How did that happen?" So overall a 9 and highly recommend.

Relaxing fun romance with great supporting cast that invites you in while taking this journey. Great to see a show where they support each other in their life goals. No backstabbing frenemies or jealousy over achievement or relationships. Each working on their dreams. Having experienced set backs, but striving together to achieve. Great sense of community. Did have moments that dragged a bit. Could have edited and moved side stories along earlier. Great dynamic of characters to add depth as relationships don't happen in a vacuum. Would watch again. Yes it's an escape as it is unrealistic for a cardiac surgeon to have a successful side job and time to pursue someone. Still fun.

I am so in love with this drama. Even its plot doesn't have lots of twists but that is how it was from the original novel: all sugar/ happy , lovey dovey and no drama. Its a healing drama that make you smile, giggle and happy when you watch it. I watched it 2-3 time already as its so sweet and lovely. For me Tan Jianci is the most amazing in it , he is so gorgeous with beautiful eyes that expresses so much love and adore to the female lead. Plus his voice dubbing skill is so excellent and i enjoy his singing so much. There is so much love and chemistry between the two main leads. I enjoy all the songs which was sang by Tan Jianci , such a beautiful, mesmerising and emotional voice . Magnificent show of voice dubbing , singing and Chinese traditional music. Highly recommended.
