Absolutely do not waste your time. I love almost all Bill Burr material but this is not funny at all total waste of time. Burr's jokes are leaning towards woke content and while I have nothing against it as such it simply is not funny. The other comedians are not someone I would usually watch. Please don't waste your time.
A series of standup comedians deliver desperately try hard material that missed and went nowhere. It wanted to be edgy, it wanted to be shocking, it wanted to go right to the edge and demonstrate why we should be less woke and less up tight maaaaaan, , but if this is what fighting for freedom of speech is all about it's hardly worth the effort. They had nothing to say and worse it had no entertainment value, it wasn't funny, With comedians like this out their trying to change the woke tide the battle is lost. Each proceeding act made it harder to keep watching, not because they were shocking us with edgy material but cos they were boring us with creepy unfunny un inventive content. Steph Tolev was like an 8 year old working on her first comedy sketch based on 80s stereotypes. Jimmy Carr has lost it the further he goes to his 'dark side'. He just can't make a funny dark joke any more. He leaves out the funny bit and just delivers the crude, and it doesn't even come across as offensive, it just falls flat. It bombs. And he is capable of being funny, his regular UK tv shows are often hilarious when he's working with other people in the confines of tv broadcasts, but alone, as a stand up, he has no quality control, maybe he's over thinking it. Maybe that's the problem with all these people, when they actually put their mind to it they bomb.
Another Netflix dumpster fire... Somehow they got Bill Burr on the train aswell and he willingy let them trash his name too. That in it self is comedy perhaps, however this special was absolutely not what anyone was hoping for and totally not worth neither the time or money.
May be the worst comedy special I've ever seen! Wolff, Carr, Tolev, et al. Were pathetic, and Burr's opening monologue was pretty weak, too. Don't waste your time.
I pray that whoever is reading this hasn't already wasted an hour of their life. Please, just read the reviews. I have to hit 150 characters. Go watch Ricky Gervais. Do anything else. It is so bad.
NOTHING about this is funny, in no way is humor found in this "special". The only thing special about this was how horrifyingly and sadly NOT funny this show turns out. Go elsewhere for humor. You won't find it here.
How could so many commics not be funny, you'd think out of 7 or 8 acts there be a single funny comedian you'd be wrong, to be honest the British guy made me chuckle but that was too little. Avoid.
I created my account just so I can give this trash 1 star. I'am a long time fan of Bill, but this is Amy Schumer level of cringe. With the exception of Jimmy Carr, they were all just bunch of pandering edgelords trying way to hard and failing miserably.
Fiends who kill Comedy, should have been the title. Much like everyone, being a fan of Bill Burr prompted me to click on it. Even Jimmy Carr's performance made his last standup special look like a masterpiece. Ronny Chieng got up and sang? The two stars reflected the number of times I "chuckled" throughout this special. I'd give this a wide berth.
