Dissapointing in that there was a lot of untapped potential in this movie. The main problem in my opinion is that The main characters are as likeable as they are funny - and they are not funny. It's poorly written and suffers from a kind of thinly veiled cynicism that is actually quite depressing.

The Layover is an R-rated comedy starring Kate Upton and Alexandra Daddrio. The film has its moments but it's clear from its trailers what to expect. Being largely panned from critics, one should have low expectations when watching. At most, the Layover, the film feels like a teenage sitcom or something in which twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have done in their time back then. The comedy isn't too forced but it really isn't funny in many ways. Predictable and television type humor. The film isn't too long which passes time quickly, though other than most there is some entertainment watching both leads interact with one another. It's a light hearted comedy, perhaps some critics are being too harsh. It's what to expect.
