This was wonderful ! What a great way to film this to . What a character this actor becomes and actually looked better in the fight scenes then some of the more well known actors not mention a decade younger these dudes need to get on the boat and take take note with Eckhart the crazy good accurate representation he showed was amazing and basically just kickass. The acting was great, the cast was near perfect and not gonna name names here .. I would say the storyline and general direction of the movie and its pace was very well done . But man did I enjoy this one and I hope this crew who made this get better too. !!
I just recently watched this movie. Writing was weak. Didn't think too much of the movie tbh, predictable, washed down plot, with a scene at the end where the MC is about to lose but suddenly pulls one out of the hat. It was hard to watch the whole thing. Guy has some weird creepy relationship with his mother. I only finished it because of how poorly the different plot points come together in the most rushed, ridiculous and completely unrealistic fashion that it became funny. If DC ever makes a Wildcat movie Eckhart would be my first pick, he would also be amazing as Sam fisher or Gi Joe. The movie is so weak and bad sorry.
It's a movie that has a mediocre plot and doesn't promise anything to the audience. A more emotional drama could have been created with this subject. Characters pattern comedy. It is not taken seriously. Still, for those who are interested in fight movies like me, it is watched with curiosity until the end. There is a man who was abandoned by his mother in his childhood, later abandoned by his adoptive people, and only one woman gave him love in every situation. This guy is trying to make money by fighting for something or at the gambling table. He tries to protect the money he earns at the expense of his life. But sometimes his memory fades and he loses the money. The reason he's so worried about money is that he sold his mother's house so he can get it back. Like a little child, the man still longs for the woman he calls mother. I'm telling you, a much more dramatic movie could have been made. There is no nudity in the movie, but there is some light sexuality.
I really don't have much to say about this one but the fact that so many are giving it bad reviews is why I am writing this so that it can boost the ratings. Like alot have said, it's not an A list movie. There's nothing extra ordinary here. It's just a simple story of an ex fighter turned drunk who owes big momma and has to find a way to pay back. That's it. However, unlike most people, I think it's a beautiful picture. I loved most of the acting and there were a few moments of laughter. I wouldn't say it's an amazing movie, but I won't rubbish it either. Just a good ol Sunday afternoon kinda movie.
