It was so bad that I couldn't look away. A few laughs purely due to the absolutely terrible acting, awful script and annoying camera work.
Was supposed to be a hallmark romance movie but it split and meandered between being a movie about christian values and romance and sucked at both. There are and have been better romantic movies out there.
I think this is actually meant to be a sequel to a movie of equally amateur acting skills and overly-dramatized plot called Pitching Love and Catching Faith. The premise of that movie is still about Tyler, but he is younger, and how he has a pact not to kiss anyone. And falls in love and eventually does kiss a girl. Her name was Heather, and in this movie he puts a ring on a tombstone with the name "Heather". I think the ring he put on it is even the ring he gave Heather. Though, I don't really recall much talk about him being married. The titles also don't really seem that connected, though both have such similar plots. And the actors were a lot of the same people, so it could just be that was a prop they had (it happens in Hallmark movies sometimes, i.e. same actors and props). Overall, it felt like an amateur film. And sometimes it was disjointed. I mean, I can't even decisively say if this was a sequel or not. I also don't know that it makes sense that he would have to give up his career to be with her. They never seem to actually be playing even in junior league games and there are men's teams and women's teams so how would they ever compete?
If you enjoy a good rom-com, you would enjoy this teenage flick.
True Hallmark Love story with a whole lot more complexity.
It was so bad that it may develop a cult following because it causes laughter where there should be none. I think the actors did their best with the poor material that was given them. I hope this movie doesn't ruin their careers.
