It was a memorable series. Scott's story/ screenplay, acting were simply superb. Right nearing the end at last he committed two mistakes of such gigantic proportions which were shocking and inexplicable by any standards. In the 9th episode of Season 3 Freddy's acting was absolutely amateurish rather childish when he tried to set Ray up to walk straight into a death trap. While trying to persuade Ray Freddy was stuttering and couldn't look Ray in his eyes. We know it was all fiction but at that point for once, "Mr inbetween" lo-oked beyond ordinary. If this is added up to the glaring difference so visibly weird when a m Ray survives Freddy Wella's setting up un Ep 9 S 3 and confronts Freddy but spares him. That was totally unlike Ray Shoesmith as we know of him.
