What an epic absurdity, it was completely bonkers that I loved so many things about this film. I didn't expect it to be this good, it was fun seeing both SJ Surya and Vishal breaking the law of physics and I hoped it didn't end. With movies catering to a thirsty young crowd director Adhik Ravichandran has raised eyebrows with an average filmography in recent years. But I bet you this film will leave many gob smacked like how such a filmmaker with a track record of mediocre films can pull off something so damn quirky, absurd that I left the theater smiling. As with most time travel movies, this treads along the familiar pattern of the characters going back and forth to prevent an incident with unexpected consequences. The film packs so much in the runtime as the leads switch places, and professions with a pile of trouble they keep getting into, trying to change their destiny. Between all the chaos we get some cool Ajith Kumar references and a tribute to Silk Smitha that makes it somewhat one of the wacky but funny sequences in the film. Coming to the performances, the main quartet, and I mean both Vishal and SJ Suryah gets 2 different roles to play which is very entertaining. They give it all for the role of the mechanic and the gangster playing the role with so many popcorn reel-worthy moments. One of my favorite sequences is the phone conversations in the 2nd half when the mechanic son SJ Surya assigns a task to the Father and keeps pestering him with non-cerebral entertainment. Please do check out my review for Thupparivaalan and you may notice that I had no hopes for Vishal and this is best, he had so much fun donning the Father and the Son role. The Climax anaconda sequence was madness, it is accentuated by over-the-top score by GV Prakash. Finally, I want to say this is a really ambitious, complicated, and brave attempt by the team to provide good cinematic popcorn entertainment is highly recommended.

One of the best comical movie , brings out the vibes of back to the future. A simple and clean story and an amazing and engaging screenplay with an extraordinary background scoring. Kudos to the director and team, aadhik really nailed it. Special kudos to the music from GV , the bgms are ultimate. Vishal did his role to perfect with some amazing performances. The key of the ship was the nadipu arakkan SJ surya. He is the god of acting. His body language style swag comedy and thug is worth trillion. An amazing asset to tamil cinema. He has nailed every bit of it. The main drawback is the songs, could have no songs in this fast phased movie. Overall an osm entertainer, Please do watch it available in theaters.

SJ Suryah's peak performance makes this whole film an interesting watch. The best part of the film is that the time travel concept was simplified which makes this film watchable by almost anyone of any age. The commercial part of the film was nicely made but the biggest drawback was Vishal since his attitude is something that most people dislike since his overacting spoils even the best scenes, that's exactly what happened in this flick as well, his characterizations were too good just like SJ Suryah but he just spoiled it and SJ Suryah scored really well and made this film watchable. Overall, it's a good one-time watch just for SJ Suryah.

A scientist named Chiranjeevi (Selvaraghavan) invents a time travel telephone in 1975, where one can make a call to any random date in the past with specific set of rules. The events that happen on 31st Dec 1975, decides the future of Mark Antony (Vishal) and Madhan Pandian (SJ Suryah) i.e. 1995. As Mark gets his hands on the special phone, he dials it back to 1975 to stop his father Antony (Vishal) from doing the mistakes on the decisive night. Does Mark succeed in changing the past for good? Are the repercussions of changing the past too much for Mark and Madhan to handle, forms rest of the story. Adhik Ravichandran has come up with his silliest/goofiest film sans his trademark cringe sexist dialogues. Ofcourse the homophobic lines are there but one step at a time. The film is extremely loud even without SJ Suryah at his loud best but here there exists two SJ Suryahs at their loud best. The first half is extremely silly and loud, asking for too much patience to buy into the narrative and those damned wigs. It is only during the pre-interval scene where the film gets interesting thanks to SJ Suryah. It is the second half where it goes bonkers with the team playing the time travel game to the gallery. SJ Suryah's loud performance fits perfectly here along with his comic timing. The screenplay in the second half is filled with back to back hilarious scene including the highlight of the movie... Silk ah?! Vishal and his Anaconda get to own the climax. It is the second half that makes up for the silly, unfunny first half. G. V. Prakash Kumar's songs were not good but one gets used to the loud BGM in the second half, which felt apt. This is a polarizing film. 15mins into the first half, the loudness of the film induced severe headache. Barring the interval scene, I didn't like anything in the first half. Then came the second half, where I found myself non-stop laughing out loud at several scenes. Adhik and team's only goal was to entertain by any means and I guess it partially worked for me. Even Sunil gets his own action scene to shine on screen in a film where Vishal and SJ Suryah dominate the screentime.
