Enjoyed the first installment. I can see this series is going to highlight Olivia Colman's acting range. We've seen her scratch the surface in ep. 1. I found her performances is the reason to watch. As an American, the story is relatively tame, but knowing what is to come and having Olivia deliver it, worth the watch...

I do not care if I missed something that is obvious to someone smarter. It was CRAP!!!! And the cops' stupidity? PS - I knew from the start that the Gerard letters were fake. Dear Mr Steele? Please stop. That is, do NOT make anything else. Life is too short.

This is a true-crime story told in a brilliantly executed black-comedy style. Good writing, great casting and acting, and the directors are clearly having fun with using the whole camera. It's the spiritual successor to Fargo.

If you have no imagination, you will hate this. But for the rest of the thinking world... Enjoy! A true story, skillfully worked like a stylish stage play. Excellent performances and direction. No spoilers here as you know the end result from the beginning, so enjoy the ride!

My time but the lead characters are two of my favorite actors. Its too bad they wasted some of their talent on this. HBO blew it on this one. Could have been more entertaining but somebody decided the audience wanted boredom instead of a story. I watched the first and last episode only and got the drift .
