I don't get the negative reviews. From what I can see, most of them are due to the film going in a different creative direction than the viewers expected. For example, there are some who wanted Ryan Evans to be part of the movie. If the low rating is for that reason, then I think that's an unfair critique. I came into the movie not having high expectations, and I enjoyed myself. Personally, I find this movie better than the High School Musical movies. Those that say Sharpay did not have character development in this movie were wrong, she started out the movie one way and ended a different person. That's character development. I think they did a great job taking Sharpay's character traits and crafting a story that would best complement and challenge her to become a better person. I, being your typical working class American, also enjoyed seeing Sharpay learning to go all in on her passion (although she goes about it the wrong way sometimes). There was also one or two moments that reminded me of when London Tipton learned what it was like to be poor in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. All in all, I loved the tone of the movie. It was the heartfelt movie you would expect from Disney Channel, other reviewers even mentioned such. We get so saturated with a bunch of bleakly realistic films or sentimental films, but sometimes you just want to watch a movie and have a good time. Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure did that for me.
Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure is a 2011 Direct to DVD spin off based on Sharpay Evans. Sharpay(Ashley Tisdale) dreams of making it big on Broadway and travels to New York City to pursue her dreams and meet her Idol who isn't as she seems. Along the way she meets a handsome guy played by Austin Butler who helps her out. Will Sharpay make it big on the big stage. Overall it was a nice film. If you love Legally Blonde and the High School Musical Trilogy than check it out. Bradley Steven Perry also stars.
This movie is very boring. Without musics and bad music
This film is so good why is it rated a 4.8 you guys have no taste. This gives Sharpay the redemption arc that she didn't need however it is done precisely and amazingly. The storyline is interesting and I am hooked every time that I watch this film. It's perfection. Finally a film that doesn't demonise ultra femininity.
