Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors

Well, this movie could have been a good opportunity for having a diverse marvel superhero hero movie, with having the most youngest heroes both male and female. But no!! But instead we get a team of heroes were there are just mainly female and two males. Also, why the hell is Squirrel Girl fat??? The animation as usual is the same as the one from Marvels Spider-Man and Avengers Assembles current season. I guess the action was good but too short. Also, the music is tolaratable. The voice acting was good but seriously Bang Zoom you dub some many animes but you waste a great voice talent like Dee Bradley Baker on this??? I would have wanted to hear him on Kakaeguri, Hunter X Hunter or even the new Laws of the universe if those dubs were union but instead you wasted him on a cheap movie pandering to kids. So now, it looks like I have to give up this dream of him being in one. Well this movie wasn't a complete time waste as it was my birthday yesterday and I was just waiting for my dad to finish his phone interview and it worked as a time killer.

My sons, my husband, and I all loved this. Super inclusive and progressive, tied to some of the canon, and it's a decently written KIDS SHOW. So it's great. Plus, Daisy Johnson!

It's a cartoon made for children but grown men go out of their way to bash it because it's based on superhero comics and it offends them because it's with girls.

Really loved this film and the new heroes. The dialog was spot on - It was deep and meaningful when it needed to be and funny at the right moments. I liked the animation and the art style. It is good for watching with the family. About the cultural and social depictions in the film, characters are culturally diverse and the film portrayed different cultures and social situations with respect. Overall, a good lighthearted film with entertaining action. Also, Squirrel girl is a cool character and also funny made me laugh a lot.

I am most certainly biased, coming from the excellent Ms Marvel and Squirrel Girl comics. But I found an interesting movie about passioned heroes wanting to do their best. Sometimes I don't need more than that. With all the universe ending drama llamas going on, sometimes I just want to see a Squirrel, a Girl and a Squirrel girl do some awesome heroics and inspire a team of new heroes. This movie is not that well animated though so if that will bother you just count my rating a couple of steps lower. I tolerate more in a movie that makes me feel good afterwards.
