Can you post English dub l wanna see which is better kakegurui or the serie Bet
Masterful interpretation of all the actors, with a great script in the series and movies, and the director has been able to position the entire team very well to make a masterpiece of art.
If you followed or watched ANY Japanese game or variety s*ws, the all have two things in common. One, over the top situations and Two, over the top character acting. This is simply part of the Japanese culture (and most asian entertainment production). One doesn't go to a Japanese restaurant with American flavors expectations do you? If you do, then you are missing the w*le point. For me, I knew what I was getting into and because of that, was not disappointed. The over exaggerated acting only added to the fun, plus helped to really solidify the character's persona. For example, Suzui - so melodramatic all the time, almost a comic relief but you get the sense of his loyalty and concern through it all. The main character, Jabami - so calculating and cunning, almost cold. But yet at times, sympathetic to the needs of others. It really comes through. Yes, if you want a s*w set in reality, then this kind of genre will disappoint, but if you like almost unbelievable twists and plots revealed at almost every episode, then give this series a try. Japanese language only, with foreign subtitles. Two seasons / 10 episodes each
Rather stick to the original. There's so much cringe when it comes to the acting. One cannot translate the exaggerated expressions of 2D characters into the real life, it just ends up cringey this series prove it. And also didn't really get that Yumeko energy from the lead(not sayingi was expectingthe animes weird sensual momoents). I *nestly expected more considering the fact that this isn't a s*w about super powers and t*se sorts of things meaning no need for big budget cgi and things like that. I *pe everyone w* wants to create an anime live action takes a look at One Piece, one could still see the essence of the character wit*ut the actor being super cringe.
It's exactly like anime and it's very entertaining to see actors trying to go all in with the emotions and facial expression! You can't take it seriously but to really enjoy it you need to look at it as anime episode. I LOVED it! Wish it was more NC17 haha
A series about an elite sc*ol where Status and success is based on the ability to gamble. Into this environment comes a new girl set to expose the cheats and challenge the system. It is based on anime and kudos to the actors and director for giving it the feel of reading a comic book.
The main leads are awesome and I really liked the ost! Maeri and Yumeko are the best duo I want season 3 or the movie part 2!!! :((
The drama was made to feel like an anime. And as a result, some situations (actually, most of them) were overacted. On the other hand, huge credits have to be given to the actors and actresses for their performances. Some of the characters were really cute and deadly at the same time, but likable overall. Some other, *wever, were simply annoying (see the last girl with the russian roulette themed bet). Plus, even t*ugh the cases-games were enjoyable and entertaining, the drama was left with a wide open ending. So, six out of ten, because of the ending (could have been handled better, even if there is a second season-movie on works).
The first time I see a live action movie of an anime, taking all the anime elements with it, making the series one of the cringiest things i have ever seen. Overreacting and s*uting on every sentence is essensial in anime, but in a live action movie? Nothing seemed realistic.
It's bad. It knows it's bad. And it's having fun with it. If you go in *ping for an engaging live-action retelling of the anime, you're going to realize really quickly that the anime doesn't translate well into real life. Luckily, the creators realized that too. So they made it as silly and insane as possible. Go in after having a few drinks and just have a good time.
