Awful acting. New York accents are all fake. And actors cannot even maintain the fake accent. I find it very insulting as I am from Queens. One actor was mixing a fake Boston in as well.
Typical cheesy Christmas royal romance story, but I am a sucker for those. Unfortunately, the use of a Marine Corp uniform irritated me the entire movie. My son is a LCpl. Prince Colin is not.
Firstly, i didnt watch it. I was brought here due to terminal lance. The balls to use the marine corps uniform!! Lol thats hilarious. Did nobody, in the entire cast , say anything? Or did they, and just say, "screw it." thats awesome. Dont care about the rest of the movie. Just enjoy this. Lol.
Sauce
What a pile of compost. Cliches, fake accents, rewound, and replayed story. No chemistry between any actors. And no, sauce is not called gravy. Nothing new. Don't waste your time with this one.

The storyline didn't bother me as much as the fake American accents from the Canadian actors as well as how it was obvious to me (a Toronto resident) that the movie, at least the outdoor scenes were shot in Toronto and not New York. Not even enough of a budget to cover up the street signs?? Couldn't make it past the first 20 minutes. The male lead was good but that's about it.
Another phony accent. Why does Hallmark want actors try a British accent? The Prince is from a fictional country and a normal accent would have been better. Then you have the Prince's assistant riding the subway--not believable. There is no way there wouldn't be a car available. And a real Prince wouldn't act that way. When will Hallmark get the message and change the current scripts and find something new. They must start putting quality in front of quantity.
Lost count how many individuals this movie insulted...Italians, New Yorkers, the Marine Corp, fictional countries....anyone that gave this movie a positive review must be watching another movie....save 2 hours and skip this debacle....wish I did....you have been warned...Hallmark what were you thinking....this has been a down year plus forced phony diversity didn't help..let's hope next year is better...couldn't be much worse Hallmark....
