بعد القضاء على العديد من الأبطال الخارقين الأخيار على كوكب الأرض، يتم إرسال مجموعة من الأشرار تحت اسم (الصواعق) من أجل خداع السلطات، ومحاولة التظاهر بمحاربة أعداء البشر، لكنهم يقفون أمام مفترق طرق بعد أن انكشف مخططهم، وأصبحوا أمام فرصة لكي يصبحوا أبطالاً جُدد.
