I have no idea if the actor can act or if the movie is any good. If that's a toupee, toss it and fire the hair stylist. If it isn't, shave his head and fire the stylist. Either way the movie might have a chance without constant reminder that this is an actor. No one would have hair like that .
The only thing recent Hallmark movies seem to be good for is playing woke bingo. It is all so forced and ridiculous. It's like they have to have a ticksheet to check off for every politically correct requirement. Also, Hallmark should stick to happy films. The scenes about grief were so unrealistic.
A waste of time. Most of the film is monotonous and boring, even great actors don't contribute to the "wow" effect. The director (Peter Benson) ruined a potentially great story.
Didn't really care for the story. It was too depressing. I don't watch these Hallmark movies to be depressed. There are tons of other programs that I could watch for that. I usually like the two leads in other movies like the Christmas one. But I found those movies to be more entertaining. I didn't give this movie too much of my time.
This film takes you by surprise early on, and has a lot more depth than the standard Hallmark fare. It then develops into being a better than average film from the channel, helped of course by the fact it has two of their leading stars in the main roles. The ending did feel rather incomplete though, and while I'm not really a big fan of sequels, if Hallmark did want to spin this off into a second installment or a series I'd be happy to see what happens next. Lovely stuff.
Hallmark, the movie supposedly takes place in NC, Where's the Southern accents?
