(شادو) رجل له ماضي، لا يرغب سوى بحياة هادئة بعيدًا عن المشاكل مع زوجته، لكن يُدرك ذات يوم أن زوجته قُتلَت في حادث بشع. يحاول السفر إلى منزله لإعداد جنازتها، ويُفاجئ شادو برجل يجلس في المقعد المجاور له على الطائرة يدعو نفسه (مستر وينسداي)، والذي يحذره من عاصفة خطيرة قادمة، ستغير كل ما يخص حياته.
