Most Slay the Spire 2 players aren't losing because they don't know the cards. They're losing because they're just playing cards — reacting turn by turn with no thread connecting their decisions. In this guide I break down the one thing that separates good players from great ones: having a plan. I'll walk you through a three level framework for thinking about every fight: Your Build — who are you this run, and what are you trying to do? Your Deck — what's left in your draw pile, and what does that tell you? Your Hand — can you just end this fight right now? Once you understand all three levels and how they connect, every turn decision gets clearer.
