Many times this spin will make your life a lot easier if your opponent is defending well on the side you initially pass to. 02:40 Red pushes down on the knee to break closed guard and begins forcing half guard. 02:59 Red Drops his hips too much here a bump from Green would have sent him over, but he is able to recover. 03:09 This is actually a good transition from Green from a quasi deep half to a quasi ashi on the far side but he doesn’t attack when he gets there and Red does some fancy leg work to get out. 04:28 Wow !
