Yeldos Smetov is a Kazakh judoka who competes in the -60 kg weight division. He is the most decorated Kazakh judoka of all time. In 2010, he won the Junior World Championships; in 2015, he was crowned the Senior World Champion. He is also a two-time world bronze medalist. Smetov has won gold, silver, and bronze medals in Olympic games, most recently in 2024. He is known for his consistency, willpower, and dynamic style of Judo.
