When Jin Cen falls into a low point in her life, she receives a call for help from Wu Li, a rural boy she once supported. Wu Li's spirit of self-reliance moves Jin Cen, prompting her to bring Wu Li, who is about to drop out of school and has no one to rely on, to the city for education. Six years later, Wu Li, now a successful professional, returns to the city and reunites with Jin Cen due to work.
