Santana’s bragging to referee Rain how she has dominated the roster as Champion and graciously extends an open challenge to a newer girl who might not be in line for a title shot yet, and the then fresh faced Tesha steps up to the plate! Tesha heaps praise on the Champion who couldn’t agree more when it comes to compliments but unfortunately for Tesha she can more than back it up! In fact the youngster looks to be in a little over her head as Santana is 2 steps ahead in the initial exchange and just doesn’t seem ready to fully exploit her advantage just yet. Tesha starts to make a little headway only to encounter Santana’s penchant for arm submissions. After an X-Factor its Shining Star Press time, but Tesha has it scouted and bails and while Santana is able to hold up she comes up lame. Tesha capitalizes on Santana’s sudden lack of mobility and unloads on her midsection, particularly in the corners. Even wounded Santana is still dangerous and one mistake by Tesha leads to a side Russian Leg Sweep and the Shining Star Press, but she can’t get all of it and Tesha miraculously kicks out! Nothing rattles a wrestler like a finisher not finishing the job, can Santana overcome her injury and defend her belt or will Rain be putting it on her protégé’?
