We’d like to say that Latasha shows a lot of heart in this match, but truth be told, she rarely gets that opportunity. It would probably be fairer to say that Latasha has a lot of heart for agreeing to this match with Vanessa. Because that itself was a brave, if somewhat foolhardy, choice. If you’re looking for a match with a happy ending where the brave plucky underdog beats unassailable odds to defeat a bigger foe, you aren’t going to find it here. This contest is all Vanessa and Latasha is simply the target of her destructions. Backbreakers (including an Argentine backbreaker drop), slams and submissions, Latasha suffers a relentless onslaught from her significantly larger opponent. Vanessa finally brings the beatdown to a merciful finish with a Samoan Drop that leaves Latasha very much out. A final moment of arrogant posing and disrespect from Vanessa seals the deal on this one-sided encounter.
