Lorelei Lee officiates with Mercedes going up against the boss herself, Lexie Fyfe. Lexie is confident as always, saying the last time she was in the ring with Mercedes it was just too easy. However, Martinez claims to have learned a few things since that encounter, and that it's time for a new breed. Upset at the lack of respect for the veterans of the squared circle, Lexie takes the fight to Mercedes. Fyfe soon finds out that the new breed is not so easily overwhelmed, as she finds herself tripped and taken down to the mat with a Fireman's Carry takeover. A frustrated Fyfe finds herself on the wrong end of Mercedes' armbars. She turns the tables momentarily with a Full Nelson, but soon she's back down on the mat with Martinez messing up her hair. Quickly realizing she's not going to overpower Martinez, Fyfe comes up with a different strategy: shortcuts. That works better for her, as soon Mercedes finds herself in a backbreaker stretch and a Surfboard. But Mercedes is resilient, countering with a Surfboard of her own, as well as a Camel Clutch and a Boston Crab. Both wrestlers trade painful submissions, with Lexie nearly taking the win with a Figure Four Leglock and Mercedes coming close to a submission victory with a double underhook. In the end, a devastating Powerbomb ends this highly competitive match.
