But one chinbreaker later, and suddenly it’s Cherry in control, choking La Rosa in the ropes, slamming her head-first into the turnbuckles, and choking her in the corner. The two trade submission holds and high-impact maneuvers throughout this evenly matched one-fall bout. La Rosa locks on Rear Naked Choke with bodyscissors and Cherry answers back with a Camel Clutch. La Rosa nails Cherry with a DDT, Cherry responds with a teeth-rattling Superkick. It’s a bodyscissors/Front Facelock combo that turns the lights out for one of these two fierce competitors. And with the victor refusing to let go of the knockout hold even after the bell has rung, the loser is left out cold and motionless on the mat.
