Serhiy Sidey is on a tear in his pro career. He is has gone 2-0 after going pro mid 2018. Leading up to the week of the fight Sidey had his second scheduled opponent drop out of the fight. With little time left to find an opponent Avinash Chowtee stepped back into the picture. The always game Avinash Chowtee wanted a second shot at Sidey after their fight in June 2018.
