Willie Nelson, Annie Lennox, and Carole King each received Honorary Doctor of Music Degrees during the Berklee College of Music's 2013 commencement on May 11. There were more than 1,050 graduates from 60 countries and 4,000 guests in attendance.

She reflects on milestones from her own musical journey, hoping to inspire the students as they move forward in their lives and careers at this critical moment of profound change.
