Iowa's Luke Eustice kept the momentum going for the Hawkeyes with an 8-3 decision over Ty Malia. Eustice scored a takedown in the first period for the early lead, and then scored a reversal in the second period by scooting out behind Malia to take a 4-0 lead. Eustice took a 6-2 lead into the final period following another takedown midway through the second. Eustice scored a third-period escape and was awarded a riding time point on his way to an 8-3 decision. The win gave the Hawkeyes their third lead of the dual, 15-12.
