Georgian K-1 and Wushu Sanda champion Giga Kukhalashvili has always been a very impressive fighter, striving to fight with an attacking, striking style and literally destroy his opponents. He was also always ready to fight anyone, anywhere, and feared no one. When Mikhail Zayats withdrew from the M-1 Challenge 85 roster, the Georgian fighter volunteered to replace him in his fight with the formidable German terminator Stefan Puetz. However, just a few days before the tournament, the German fighter also suffered an injury. His compatriot Sebastian Heil stepped in as his replacement. Like Kukhalashvili, the German fighter was renowned primarily for his striking – he had won six of his seven professional fights, four of which were knockouts.
