Robert H. Latiff is a research professor at George Mason University and an adjunct faculty member at the Reilly Center for Science, Technology, and Values at the University of Notre Dame. He earned a Ph.D. in materials science from the University of Notre Dame and is a graduate of the National Security Fellows Program at Harvard University. A former major general in the U.S. Air Force, General Latiff’s last active duty assignment was at the National Reconnaissance Office, where he was director of advanced systems and technology and deputy director for systems engineering.
