Killer Looks

Great 90's type detective story with some laughs. The lead girl was funny as the wise cracking Alex. The detective was good in a Billy Bob Thornton/Walter Matthau kind of way. The supporting characters all had motives so it made it a really interesting "who done it".

No don't do it. And no pun intended - I am just using a pun to point out that the main female character is in love with them. The puns that is - have to admit she and the old detective make quite the pair (not like that). Like when they get tied up at work ... yes probably what you think - unless your mind is in the gutter of course. And the old guy does get distracted a lot during the investigation. Can you blame him? I guess you can - I mean looking at womens cleavages while interrogating them .. not something many will find not offensive. But you'd be missing the point - the point not being the occasional nudity (though I reckon that can be quite attractive too - again no pun intended), but the older Dude who is in it ... not really to win it (or solve it for that matter) ... he's too old for that .. you know what! That's why he has the younger assistant to help him solve stuff ... and do interviews and all that. And for the puns of course ... also she is quite the eye candy herself ... what makes her really attractive is the way she plays her role. It may look silly and easy, but comedy timing is not as easy as some may think it is. Anyway, if you have love for b-movie detective stories and don't mind puns and nudity ... well why haven't you started watching yet?!

I give it a 5 cause I like the genre and the unspectacular but attractive women. Film score, perfomances, dialogue are all charmingly bush league. Unfortunately I've spent 80 mins on worse
