After twelve intense rounds at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Taylor secured a unanimous decision victory with all three judges scoring the bout 114-112. With the win, Taylor cemented his place in boxing history, becoming only the sixth male fighter in the four-belt era to capture undisputed status and the first Scottish boxer ever to hold all four major world titles in a single division. Taylor (18-0, 13 KOs) seized control in the middle rounds and never looked back. In the sixth, he cracked Jose Ramirez (26-1, 17 KOs) with a sharp left hand that sent the previously unbeaten champion crashing to the canvas. Then came the seventh round, where Taylor nearly ended the fight in spectacular fashion.
