The left cross elbow is a horizontal elbow strike used at close range in Muay Thai. Execution begins from a stable fighting stance with a small step forward from the lead foot to close distance. The elbow then travels across the centerline in a tight horizontal motion while the body rotates to generate controlled impact. Maintaining the rear hand high protects against counters during the strike.
