A late Jeremy Doku equaliser rescued a point against the Toffees as we lost ground in the Premier League title race. The Belgian put us ahead just before the break with a brilliant curling effort from the edge of the area. Thierno Barry scored twice and Jake O’Brien was also on target as Everton grabbed a 3-1 lead with three goals in 13 minutes. Erling Haaland pulled a goal back immediately before Doku equalised almost seven minutes into injury time. A draw leaves us five points off the top of the Premier League but with a game in hand with four matches remaining.
