WWE 2K26 introduces to us the ringside pass, an all new way to purchase DLC in WWE video games. This however comes with a cost, abandoning the season pass system that fans were accustomed to for years. In WWE 2K25, purchasing the $99.99 “Deadman Edition” would get you the 25 standard DLC superstars the second they released. In WWE 2K26, you have to purchase the $149.99 “Monday Night War Edition” to receive access to the same amount of DLC superstars, and that’s not where it ends. Now apart of this ringside pass, you have to earn XP to unlock the DLC you purchased. Once you make it to Level 20, all 4 DLC superstars are unlocked, but what if you just want them right away like it was in WWE 2K25? To do so, you can purchase a tier skip for 1.99 per level, which you will have to do 20 times. That will cost $40 per season, and $240 total if you do this for all 6 seasons of ringside passes. Add that onto your purchase of the Monday Night War Edition, and you’re spending a total of $390. This effectively makes the Game + DLC in WWE 2K26 $290 more expensive than WWE 2K25, which was only $100.
