Their timing is off, they get countered a lot, and no matter how much they train, they still feel easy to hit. The problem usually isn’t speed or fitness it’s that they only know how to move their body in one way. In this video, I explain a simple three-axis system that helps you understand how your body is meant to rotate and shift when you box. Instead of staying stuck on the centre line, you learn how to move between different positions that make you harder to hit and better balanced. I break down how small changes in shoulder position, weight distribution, and hip rotation can give you built-in defence, better flow, and more control over your movement. Once you understand these three positions and how to transition between them, your punches, head movement, and counters start to connect more naturally. This framework helps you stop feeling stuck and start moving with purpose, so you’re not just throwing punches, but actually controlling space and timing in the ring.
