ABOUT THE SHOW ‘AFRICAN KNOCKOUT’ (The AKO Show), a reality show and a platform launched to discover the next Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Champion in Nigeria. The AKO Show is a combination of sports and entertainment, with 2 teams of fighters, living and interacting with each other for 9 weeks trained by top professional MMA Coaches with a finale in December 2020. It features rigorous training sessions, fun challenges, drama and visits from celebrities. The show’s soundtrack AFRICAN KNOCKOUT featured by M.I Abaga and produced by Chopstix is released on all music platforms. Okey Bakassi is the show host for this season.
