When Anthony Giovanetti convinced his old college friend, Casey Yano, to quit his job to make a video game, neither of them knew how big it was going to become. Inspired by card games like Dominion, Hearthstone, and Netrunner, as well as other games such as FTL, the pair created a single-player roguelike deckbuilder that kicked off an entirely new genre.
